MediaLive is an annual festival that brings together art, digital culture, and technology presented through the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA). As part of MediaLive 2017, BMoCA and Ello curated a show comprising of digital GIFs all based on the theme of “The Void”.

This GIF was developed, commenting on the digital void that we all seem to find ourselves in after spending the entire day staring at screens. The portrait, rendered with distorted and glitching neon lines, shows a disconnected face, with eyes radiating static and listless expression.
